This could be the steal of the 2025 season! The Bulls are thrilled to announce the signing of Tobias Cameron to our 2025 roster!
Cameron is a rising star in the NBL best known for his gritty, relentless defensive skillset.
In 2024 Cameron played for the Taranaki Mountainairs, averaging 4.9 rebounds per game, 9 points and 1.5 steals. Tobias also represented the Tall Blacks in two games during the Asia Cup Qualifiers last year, further cementing his "rising star" status .
Bulls fans witnessed Cameron's playing style firsthand at the Stockyard last season. On June 23rd, the Airs arrived at the Stockyard severely short-handed, relying on their young players to take the lead. Cameron demonstrated to the Bulls coaching staff the kind of player he is: gritty, hardworking, and determined to win against the odds. In that game, Cameron scored 15 points, made 4 assists, 7 rebounds, and finished with 3 steals. It was his 33 minutes of defensive intensity that contributed to the Airs' 100 to 98 victory and secured his spot on the recruitment list for Bulls GM, Jamie Reddish.
“I am stoked with the addition of Tobias to the Bulls. He plays the game in a way that reflects how we want to play. Not afraid to roll up the sleeves and get the job done. It's what he does that doesn't end up on the stats sheet that excites us! He will surely be a key part to coach's defensive system and strategy.
Head Coach Sebastian Gleim echoed this sentiment, emphasising the alignment between Tobias’ qualities and the team’s philosophy.

For Tobias, the move to the Bulls marks an exciting chapter. “I’m excited to be a part of the Bulls organization. There’s a great community here and couldn’t be happier to be closer to my family. Eager to play and learn under Coach Gleim, he’s a well-known coach in Europe, so I feel like he can help develop my game, along with Logan Botica to teach me how to take my body to the next level.
