Young Talent returns for his third year.


Christian Vano is back for his third year with the Bulls and Coach Sebastian Gleim for Sal's NBL 2025. The guard from Tokoroa had a significant role in the inaugural Franklin Bulls Rapid League team during the 2024 season.


Vano averaged 9.7 minutes and was shooting at 44% from the field throughout the Sal's NBL season. During the inaugural Sky Broadband Rapid League season, he averaged 14.9 minutes per games, scored 112 points and had 25 assists during the season.


"We are excited to have the young talent and scoring ability Christian brings back in our roster for 2025. He’s a speedy guard with a big future ahead of him. I believe under Coach Gleim, Christian's development will only continue to grow." Says Franklin Bulls General Manager, Jamie Reddish.


The Rotorua High School senior ended his high school career helping his team to a top four finish at the 2023 NZ Secondary School National averaging 21.3 and a high score of 41.


Vano has been a member of the Waikato Country rep programs. Waikato Country is a key focus area for the Bulls in supporting the development of players.


Head Coach Sebastian Gleim, is planning on Vano taking a bigger role as he continues to prove his commitment to the game.

"Christian Vano is a very tough kid. Going into his third season with the Franklin Bulls, he is set to receive be rewarded for his determination and commitment. In the 2024 season, he significantly contributed to the team's victories and is expected to further develop in his role."
