Flynn Cameron, the younger brother of Bulls guard Tobias Cameron, will join him at the South Auckland based club after the conclusion of the Australian NBL playoffs/finals.

Last season Flynn helped the Taranaki Airs come within a whisker of a Semi-Final berth in a tight battle against the eventual champions, the Canterbury Rams. Cameron was instrumental down the stretch, pushing the Airs to overtime with a clutch three. The young rising star averaging 16 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists on the season.

A finals run with Melbourne United will enhance Cameron's resume and provide essential experience and leadership to the Bulls' young team. Newly appointed Bulls GM Jamie Reddish understands the influence that another Cameron will bring to the club.

"We are thrilled to announce the addition of Flynn to our 2025 squad. He has had an outstanding year with Melbourne United and we are confident that he will be in excellent form upon his return from the playoff run. Playing alongside his brother Tobias, I'm sure these two will quickly become fan favourites. We're excited to see what they can achieve together on the court."

In 2023 and 2024, Cameron was chosen to represent the New Zealand Tall Blacks in the 2024 Olympic qualifying tournament and the 2023 FIBA World Cup. This World Cup is particularly significant for Bulls head coach Sebastian Gleim, who previously served as an assistant coach for the gold medal-winning German national team. Although the two never faced each other at the event, Coach Gleim understands the demands of competing at the highest level and is thrilled to have a national team-caliber player like Flynn Cameron on board.

"Flynn is a very talented player with and without the ball. He can score on different levels and he plays with strong character. For now, we wish him a good playoff run with Melbourne and are happy to welcome him to the Bulls family." Head Coach, Sebastian Gleim.

The Cameron brothers will reunite at the early part of the season. Season memberships for the Bulls are only available until the season begins. Act fast to ensure you don't miss out on the excitement.
